Pandurang's father dies, and Pandurang is forced to take over the family business. He works hard to keep the business afloat, but it is a struggle. One day, Pandurang is diagnosed with a terminal illness. He knows that he will not live long, and he is determined to spend his remaining time with his family. He tells Gauri about his illness, and she is devastated. However, she vows to stay by his side and support him. Pandurang dies a few months later. Gauri is heartbroken, but she knows that Pandurang is in a better place. She continues to live in the village with her children, and she raises them to be good people. गाभारा is a moving and powerful novel that explores the themes of love, duty, family, and tradition. It is a classic of Marathi literature and is a must-read for anyone interested in Indian literature.
